Swimming and sun protection with no hair

Hi everyone, I hope you are being cared for and have something that makes you smile coming up.

I was wondering if anyone can suggest a sun protection cap or swim cap for swmiing whilst bald?  I've googled but can't find anything I like.

Thanks so much x

  • Hi

i always wore a straw hat. It didn't matter if it got wet and I would sunscreen underneath it. I'm not a big one for sticking my head under the water, so it worked really well. Karen xox

  • Hi, I just went bald when I went swimming.  Went early morning mostly so didn't do the sunscreen thing.  Had no problems.  If I went later in day especially with grandkids I found just a nylon light cap wasn;t to annoying (got it from Sue's wig shop in Perth) and an ordinary cap with the back flap for playing on the beach. Great cap that I've had for years - flaps all around with velcro bits to tighten /cover how you like.  Also I love my "fishing shirt" (purchased from fishing shops) for the sun - all over cover, quite cool, lots of flaps for air vents SPF50 rated.
