newly diagnosed with secondary in pelvis. had a bone biopsy under Ct scan . was awake during procedure, but felt no pain, only pressure, took 4 to 5 goes to get a sample of the lesion. was given pain relief and mild anaethetic during procedure. was not as bad as I had thought. walking around today , now just waiting for results in January. Hi Pam -- sorry to hear that, going through tests is never fun. But at least you know everything is being thoroughly checked out so you'll know exactly what's going on. Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better -- hang in there and keep letting us know how you're doing. :)
Finished radiotherapy, now just started Arimidex, was sick second day, don't know if that was the drug or wwas just a bug. feeling ok today. My oncologist thinks that there may be an undetected primary tumor somewhere, they retested my biopsy and the hormone levels were off the charts so have to go through all the tests again. feeling a bit deflated at present.
Hi Pam -- not sure how I missed your reply -- maybe too much turkey! :) Christmas was very full on, but much fun. Hope you're still feeling full of confidence -- it's always the best way to face a new year, I think. :)
