Good news about the fish.I think you'll find that you'll be so relieved when all your treatments are over.In anycase,they don't let you off the leash for long. You'll have 3 monthly checkups with your surgeon for awhile yet. I'm at the stage where I don't want to go near a doctor or a dentist.I'm way overdue for checkups.Sounds like the bad karma might have lifted for you.
