Surviving

All going well I will be having a family dinner and then a big get together after the radiotherapy then full steam ahead to recovery and back to normal living.........that will probably take a bit of getting used to at first after almost a year.

Would you believe that my fish tank split from top to bottom on Saturday, water water everywhere, I was shocked what else can go wrong for me this year??????? Lucky if they survive until tomorrow my son will adopt the fish for me the poor things are homeless at the moment and forced to live in a bucket...just as well it didn't happen tomorrow as we will be away for the whole day and there would have been no water left and all the electrical things still working..pump, heater, filter and air stone could have been a fire or something plus a flooded loungeroom...I have had fish tanks for about 35 years and this is the first time this has happened, they usually just spring a leak at one of the joins this split where there was no join just a rounded front corner and this tank is only about 5 years old the first one lasted about 19 yrs with heaps of moves the second one lasted until I upgraded to this one and had also had several moves this one was never moved but of course they won't admit that there must have been some sort of fault in the manufacture for this to have happened. What a saga

So so far this year that is the fridge,washing machine, pool pump, electric blanket and now the fish tank, not to mention some small things like the toaster, and slow cooker.........maybe I should move out of here until next year???

Well hope you  are keep well at least I am getting closer to the end of chemo that has to count for something and hopefully all those little cancer cells are as dead as door nails.
