Surgery

I'm finally coming up to my last round of chemo (8 all up) & in the new year I will have my left breast removed. I'm still undecided on whether or not I will have a dble mastectomy - this wld be my choice. I keep changing my mind one day I want both off the next day I'm not so sure! I wld appreciate anyone's advice just so confused at the moment. Thanks ladies xx

    I think this is such a personal choice.There are lots of ladies on here that have had single mastectomies(I am one of them)and lots a double.Some with reconstruction,some not.For me personally,if I had to do it again,and I had a choice,I would choose double.The reason is that it is a bit inconvenient like this,and I don't have any problem with the way it looks.I have never wanted a reconstruction,but like I said,I think it is a very personal choice.I am sure that lots of other ladies will give you some great advice.All,the best with what you decide xoxoRobyn
