surgery

Hi rowdy, you are allowed to be scared, it's only natural. I'm a day post mastectomy now and I was so scared I almost vomited. But then I was in, the staff and Dr were amazing at the Mount and it was all over. It's really not that bad...I didn't have an immediate recon but I can tell you the breast surgery is not that bad at all. Drains are a bit of a pain and more of an annoyance than painful. Take deep breaths and keep busy til the day. Sending you hugs and wishing you well. Jen
