Hi My Pink sisters,
I am home and recovering from my nephrectomy (kidney removal). It was tougher going than I had anticipated but with the help of my family I am getting through it.
My Uroligist confirmed, wide margins, no spread of the cancer......yay.
So its on with my recovery and getting ready to start my radiation.

Congratulatipns on getting through the nephrectomy and the clear margins. It is a long haul and I too was shocked, scared and terrified.
The whole process of treatment seemed such a long time, but it does pass, and we cam only live one day at a time really. You may come out the other side a little changed in outlook and priorities, as well as physical changes. It was hard to put faith in others to give me the best treatment for me. Keep those fingers crossed.

I have been such a baby this time, endless tears and stupid fear of I don't know what.
Can't put that up there for people to see, you know I don't want to scare any newbies. Anyway I am doing my best to push through and trying to do everyday activities to get back to normal asap.
I am so pleased to hear about the radiation as I have been a bit scared about that one, once my recovery is done its on to that for me.
I am glad that you are doing ok and its almost over for you.

Donna you are doing so well, and got through that hurdle as I thought you would, like the strong lady you can be. I wish you well with the rest and recovery. Best of luck, I have only 4 radiation visits left. (I have found that part so much easier than any of the rest). xx Bel
