Sounds like you have a full on time ahead of you and I think we will excuse you for not being at the Conference my sweet.
Seriously it sounds like a major surgery so I am wishing you nothing but the quickest, smoothest recovery around and hope you are up and about in the very near future. I am sure you will feel you have made the right decision down the track when everything settles down.
