Thank You Christine. It is hard not to worry but reading and hearing stories from brave women like yourself who have been through this tough journey does help heaps.
I have my moments but 95% of the time I am good. Just doing everything as normal leading upto surgery. Afterwards is a mystery so I try not to think too much about it. I guess you learn to have the mentality that whatever you are faced with you accept and deal with it accordingly. There's always someone somewhere dealing with worse circumstances, may it be health or otherwise.
I believe in faith and praying has really helped me a great deal. It's a form of meditation which is very soothing and comforting at the same time. No matter who you talk to and get support from, no one ever truly understands your emotions and feelings even if you have been through the same journey. Everyone is unique and handles stress and anxiety differently. What works for one doesn't necessarily work for others. You have to be your own mentor and teacher. I know one thing for sure that God gives the strength and courage to deal with anything.
Wishing you all the best with the rest of your journey. Hope that you have conquered all the hard hurdles and will not face anymore that you won't be able to jump over.
Take Care xx
