Hi Rene, great news that your margins were clear -woo hoo! Hope your first chemo & Herceptin sessions go well. They usually take it a bit slower with this first infusion so it might be a bit longer than a few hours. My first chemo & herceptin took around 6-7hrs but the following cycles were quicker.
I took an iPad with music & yoga nidra, sudoku and crossword puzzles, and my husband who did the coffee runs! Some people were up for chats too so that passed the time. The staff were fantastic and really terrific about answering questions and generally making you feel well looked after. Best wishes and hope you have minimal side effects. Jane xx
