Sue, we recently developed a booklet on hormone therapies, which you can access on our fact sheet and booklets webpage. Page 6 of the booklet talks about how hormone therapies significantly reduce the risk of the cancer coming back. You can also order a free copy by calling us on 1800 500 258.
Also Sue, I'm not sure if you've spoken with your oncologist, but they can explain the benefit of taking a hormone therapy (using statistics) for your particular type of breast cancer. Perhaps you could have a chat with them?
