Struggling
My diagnosis was in November and I am currently 3 doses in to chemo - A/C with 1 to go, then 12 weeks of Tax.....something or other, along with 12 months of Herceptin.
I had two tumors, one invasi...
It certainly is a battle isn't it? I was diagnosed with grade 3 invasive ductal carcinoma, 9cm and had 80% of lymph nodes removed. Was on 6 treatments of TAC which was brutal, eventually only having 4 treatments and the last two being AC. This was because TAC affected my lungs. I could only deal with one day at a time. It really is the best way. Have you tried The 'Look good, feel good' seminars? They are a great confidence booster and you will get to meet others in the same boat. Always good to talk to someone who knows exactly what you're going through.
if you feel like a melt down, then so be it. You don't have to be strong all the time. Write things on here, there will always be someone who can help you.
