Stress
Hi ladies,
This week has turned out to be a little more stressful than I would of liked.
After chemo 2, it took a few days of changing medications until I felt better, I usually take coversyl for hi...
Isnt it great to just blurb everything out , and not be patronised . Feel free to chat anytime .. I have had stressful month of November, my mum fell and broke her hip , she lives 4 hoursw away... so had to stay with her and help out and was very stressful as she also cares for my disable brother, whom she thought would bae able to look after her when she came home from hospital.... I had to arrange respite care for him for the next 8 weeks , was done and she is very angry at me for doing that, so of course our relationship has become strained also. so it never stops , and my doctor is concerned for all the stress it has put on me also.... but had to be done only daughter and noone else to do it... sometimes you have to remove yourself from the situation to get a break and of course i did many times, i even swore at my poor mum , so took off for a walk on the beach with the dog , he didnt know what had hit him with all the exercise he had been getting .. nice stress releif watching the waves roll in.. I am home once again now till after xmas having a rest, so hopefully my stress levels should drop now......Kathy if you need some help with your emotional issues, you can call CAncer Council and they can help you with getting some professional help for 6 free consultations or your local GP through a health plan with them, but you do have to ask, many people arent aware of this service, diabetics, heart conditons and such have this service so you are entitled due to your chronic condition. The government bulk bills for 5 consultations whether with Pshcologist, Dietitian, Exercise Physilogist, Physio, or whatever they think may help you thru your bad patch....I have used both services and have helped me through plus some happy pills too...I did fight the anti depressants but in the long run they helped me get over the hurdle and still do.....hope this helped you .. cheers Maureen
