Stopping Tamoxifen early

I am officially counting down until I stop taking Tamoxifen. I know the general rule is 5years but there is no way I can make it that long! I'm trying to aim for 2yrs (106days left!!). And even that is a struggle!

I am hating all the side effects i have been getting and I just want to feel like myself again!! Plus next year I am hoping to start a family- fingers crossed I will be posting news about my bump!

Is anyone else having horrible side effects? Besides the hot flushes I am finding myself very emotional (menopausal??). I have also been given a script for some hormone replacement therapy to combat my Tamoxifen therapy side effects- if you can believe that? It sounds very counter productive! Surely it just makes sense to stop the Tamoxifen rather than continually popping pills to deal with side effects- where does it stop?!

Well that's my whinge for today- time to think of more positive things in my life, like my wedding in January!!  :-)
