Stopping Femara after 5 years

I agree Dawn - this is what I have known also. In fact any secondary cancer is not necessarily curable. My friends mum had breast cancer and was treated. 2 years later it was in her liver. She started chemotherapy again and within 9 months passed away. It really depends where it reappears. Hence the concern most people have about reoccurrences and a treatment plan that tries to achieve longetivity.
