I didn't start Tamoxifen until treatments were over.You are wise to hold off until you know your treatment plan. The brand I take is "Genox" so yours sounds different but don't worry,most women are fine with any brand.I got a facial rash and bad headaches when I tried another brand -just me! When I was having radiation(in 2003) I would come home and soak in a warm salt bath and it would soothe and reduce the burning/swelling.Add a nice smelling candle and a glass of bubbly(or chocolate!)- instant stress buster! However,I didn't have alcohol whilst having radiation and only have it occasionally now. Hang in there. Tonya xx
