still not worried
Good morning to all who are on-line,
Paris Hilton can have her B.F.F. cause I have my very own B.B.B. Best Bosom Buddy, she lives in my area and we spoke yesterday. Glad I did cause she gave me so...
welcome to our world :) bit of a rollercoaster at times..but lots of support and advice here.
My surgery happened within 4 weeks of mammogram (and a bit longer as it was over dec/jan which slows down the process a little with xmas looming) and all i wanted to do was get it done and start chemo, then i would know that this little nasty was at least being attacked back!!! I felt like "how dare u invade my body!".
.i didn't feel too worried either (not sure if that is a coping mechanism or not) as we had a plan..and we never for a moment thought the plan would not work..and so far it is working (even with secondary issues) I am feeling well right now but needed some 'head space' counselling and support throughout my chemo days..so don't be suprised if one day it does hit u...just know that there is help out there for those issues, just as much as for the physical body..u only have to ask-if you have a breast care nurse they can sort a lot of these things out for you..
good luck with your surgery and follow up treatment...hope to see u back here soon
Sam :)
