Surgery is done and dusted. I was lucky to have a very early morning admission and was in surgery by 9am. As you all know the less waiting you do the better your day is.

I was in the same position five weeks ago that you find yourself in now. It is such a whirlwind of events and emotions and I hope I never have to go thru it ever again. I am sending good vibes to you and hope your results are good as were mine. This is a time when support from family and friends is so important. I can't believe how lucky I have been and I am sure you will be getting heaps of love and support too. Its hard not to think of worst case scenarios but as I was told by some very wise people....just take one day at a time. No good stressing about outcomes that may not even eventuate.
