Oh no I wrote a long reply and than delete it all by mistake !
Anyway, don't worry about spelling mistakes as I often I don't even see them ;)
Spending time with family and friend helped me a lot to not to constantly think about it, and also cleaning , I cleaned the house like a maniac , not that I usually obsess about it but I really wanted to leave a clean and organised environment for my husband while he was taking care of the girls. He did a very good job, he even washed our daughter school uniform!!
I live in Sydney and I went to St Vincent Public Hospital for my surgery .and I have been looked aftter very well. I had been warned too about valuable but in my overnight bag I had only $20 and my mobile , and clothes of course, and the bag has been taking from me before surgery and given back few minutes after I was wheeled in my room . Nothing was taken. I am glad I had my phone with me , I kept it on silent the whole time, but it was nice to send and receive messages .
I didn't want painkiller the first night as I was fine with the anestahetic but on the third day I was a bit sore so I took one to be able to sleep.
It was my youngest daughter 4 th birthday too while I was in hospital and I felt a bit guilt about it, but hey , there was not much I could about it , but I did get her a gift when she visited with daddy that I took it with me iat the hospital .
Everything will be ok, just relax and do something that takes your mind away .
Thinking of you
