Hi Erin
Wishing you the best of everything for next Tuesday. Chemo is no picnic but you seem to be going in to it with a positive attitude so that is a major bonus for you. Do as we all do and take it an hour at a time and a day at a time when you are able. The blog what has helped me through my journey is a good one for things to help you with side effects.
Sounds like a good idea you have decided hospitality is not the place to be when you are prone to low white cell count and infections. You need to use the time to nurture yourself and keep as well as you possibly can. It is a chunk out of your life but you will get there and just think if that chemo gets rid of the yucky cancer cells that are lurking it is worth every side effect you have to endure.
You will feel crappy sometimes and great others but just remember so many of your pink sisters have gone before you and survived and come out the other side to tell their story.
Good luck and best of luck on your chemo journey. We are here for you when you need advice, to vent, to scream swear yell and whatever makes you feel you have got to get it out and out there!!!!. Just remember this is about you and look after number one and enjoy the love of your family and friends who surround you at this time.
Mich xoxo
