I am now taking 8mg ondansetron and it is helping more than the maxalon. Still nauseous but tolerable and I am eating ok now. I didn't go to the hospital as I figured that it was normal. Being a long weekend I didn't speak to my breast nurse till the Tuesday(day4) and she said I should have gone to ED for a drip & for me to let the Dr know & hopefully he can do something so it doesn't happen next time.
Getting the ondansetron script wasn't easy with the oncologist away all week they told me to call my GP. Called my GP & she was away that day so I had to wait till the next day then the next day came and receptionist kept saying sorry It hasn't been done yet. In the end my mum went in and told them I needed it and they did it straight away. Go mum!
I have dexamethasone for the 2 days after treatment but it obviously wasn't helping this round. Hopefully next time.
Other than that Im improving strength wise daily as the first 2 days really took it out of me. I have a couple of ulcers today but otherwise going ok.
