Hi @TaraJ Be prepared and it will be okay. Have antacids on hand, movicol (or similar), gastrostop, panadol, antihistamine,. May not need any of them but if you are prepared then it prevents nasty side effects taking hold. The hospital will provide you with anti nausea drugs. Buy some head coverings as well. Rinse your mouth out with salt water twice a day to prevent mouth ulcers (or try aloe vera juice-worked for me). Keep your skin moisturised. In other words, pamper yourself for the next twelve weeks. Sit down, put your feet up, take short relaxing fresh air walks, cuddle up to your pets (unless they are fish), read some books, spend time doing your favourite hobby. Whilst the chemo is doing its work, enjoy your moments. Sending big hugs.
