I am having my 4th chemo tomorrow.I don't drink ginger beer,but I make sure I drink at least 2 litres of water on chemo day,and 3 litres for 2 days after to flush the drug out of your system.Eat a light meal before chemo,and take some snacks to have during it. I always get hungry .Sandwiches,nuts etc.I am 10 weeks today past my surgery,and my arm has full movement,so I count myself very lucky.The one exercise,that I did literally dozens of times a day in the beginning,and still do now,is the one where you stand side on to a wall,and walk your fingers up the wall as far as you can.Then hold and count to 5,then walk them back down again.The aim is to get your arm straight up.It is a great exercise to do in the shower with hot water running on your back.All the best for your chemo.Dont worry too much about it,just go with however you feel.Keep in touch and let us know how you are.
