I'm glad you have taken steps to hustle things along. The waiting is the worst part of this ordeal and we all just want to deal with the cancer and get on with our lives. A month does seem a long time from your op to the oncologist receiving the referral. Hopefully your squeaky wheel approach will soon have things rolling along at full steam for you.
