  • Thanks for ure replays the doctor said it might be a side affect of my chemo.. It's settling now but just soreish keeping up water had the sore throat since Saturday
  • Funny you should mention it because I developed a sore throat yesterday after feeling exhausted since my chemo on Thursday (cycle 3). It seems to have settled down a bit now but still a little sore. The tiredness has abated and I am feeling much better today. Maybe just picked it up from some random germ. There are a few cold germs floating around from what I have observed with the sounds of sneezing and coughing as I trundle among the aisles of Woollies my scarf forever tightening around my mouth and nose in the pure desperation of staying clean! Healthy hugs, Gilly xx
  • Ask your chemo nurses they can offer plenty of suggestions.

I was crunching on ice whilst I had chemoso i wouldn't get mouth sores. Depends what chemo you are on - but the nurses will know.

I also bought lots of the biotene mouthwash and toothpaste products, recommended by many ladies here. Again ask your pharmacist.

The other thing I found helpful was a spoonful of manuka honey at least the 15+ .

    All the very best.

  • Hey I've been going really well besides my sore throat lol but yeah no sickness or nausea yet but going good hope u are well aswell marg
  • Hi

How are you going in your first cycle? I have not got a sore throat which is good. Been looking after myself. I was so tired on friday and saturday, still tired but not as exhausted as those days. May try and go to work for half a day tomorrow and need to have a blood test. Cross fingers so far so good. but its early days.

    Hope you are well otherwise.
