I had a mastectomy an partial node removal to my left side in August 2010. I'm lucky enough to have a Mum who is a massage therapist and give really good deep tissue massage. It has helped free alot of movement in my sholder and is almost 100%. Must say I still haven't had Radiation yet just chemo so will have to keep on with it throughout that. So I'm not sure if you're into that kind of thing or not but it's worth a try.
Did everyone get their exercise program when you got your operation from the hospital Physio? I've talked to a few people who had nothing. At the RBH they start you off immediately with exercises to do throughout your recovery and are monitored quite closely.
