I had a double mastectomy last year and suffered with shoulder pain for a long time after surgery. I found it difficult to raise my arms and to put them behind my back. I finally went to a physio which helped immensely. With that and the exercises I was given my shoulders are almost back to normal. it sounds as if a physio might be a good idea for you too. Try and find one who has experience with women who have had breast surgery and radiotherapy. They will have a better understanding of your situation.
