hi, i had very stiff and painful feet and joints too, post chemo, and then early menopause at 42. i am now 55.
i still do have some discomfort issues at times, especially if i rush about too much, or try to do too much in one day. my mantra these days is.."slowly, carefully, gently" and " i can do it tomorrow. "
perhaps it is some peripheral neuropathy and oestrogen depletion, after menopause and some chemotherapy drugs.
i take tibolone 2.5 mgs ( menopause symptoms, ) and ( zoloft 50mgs; it can help with reducing perception of pain.) chronic pain can be hard to cope with.
i do my own reflexology, and warm water therapy and exercise helps too, especially in winter.
give yourself time to recover ( a year or two ) is my advice. everyone is different i know, depending on treatments and type of BC.
what about foods like beans and lentils with plant oestrgens in diet? i have also started on fish oil, and sometimes low dose aspirin ( 100mgs) . i have vitamin D i can take at times too.
hope you can get some relief.
kathy.
