Having someone ferret around in your armpit often causes problems. Its very common for the node site to be more painful than your boob. There are stitches and probably staples in there and some nerve and muscle damage is usual. Not that you are routinely informed about any of that. If you have a breast care nurse, give them a call and they can give you some technical information about what to expect as you heal.
Keep a close watch on the area and if it feels hot or swollen you need to get it checked out. Mxx
