Soft nails problems

I am well and normal ,finish my chemo 4 months ago and I was surprise my fingers nail become soft and brittle and start loose ,peel off easy...

my nails took about 8 months to stop peeling and breaking off. I just washed my hands and put hand and nail creme on and left them be. I had no choice but to keep them short as they just peeled and broke off. I lost a couple of toe nails but they are back and all is well.
For the 1st time on the weekend I put on nail polish, whilst my nails aren't very long they are strong again so hopefully I'll now get some length.
