Hi RozMoz, the pathology report will give all the info for your treatments. In my case I had a follow up visit with breast surgeon about a week after surgery. That’s when the results were explained regarding er+ pr+ her2+, commonly called triple positive. The good news was clear margins and node negative. For me the her2 was unexpected and was a curve ball as it meant chemo, which hadn’t been on the radar. However I’ve just had my second dose of red devil and am travelling well with it.
so while the waiting and the unknown is just exhausting, trust me when I say stressing won’t make the time pass quicker, nor will it change anything. If you are concerned call your breast nurse or you surgeon and ask about your pathology result appointment.
