So scared
Hi everyone. Today I have been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma :( One lump is 1.7cm the other which is situated very close to the big one is .8cm.
All the information from the specialist s...
What wonderful news today, you must be feeling so releived.
No it wasn't a dream ... and yes, as Richard said, wonderful news. Your doctor sounds like a lovely bloke and he has pledged that he will be looking after you and being by your side for the next 5 years (soon he'll be family !!!)
I know you are still scared and thats perfectly normal, but this is the time to be kind to yourself. Try relaxing .... yoga and Tai Chi are good for this .... go and get a massage, facial etc. and keep busy - a bit of retail therapy never hurt anyone :)
Keep the lines of communication open with Richard and the kids ... share your feelings with them and encourage them to share their feelings and fears with you. I'm sure Mum and David will be up there with you soon, don't forget they are as scared and worried as you are. I sent Mum some reading material today, she should have it by Friday
Most of all, stay confident and positive - you owe it to yourself. Ring me any time, even just for a chat.
Take care ... Luv you - Shirl x0x0x
