My surgeon was wonderful as was his side by side doctor.
he held my hand as I cried and told me that from what he sees we are going for a cure of my cancer. From my test results he is very confident this is a bump in the road for me. ( do I believe him?) :-/
My surgery is booked for Friday week. He is doing a wide incision with sentinal node biopsy and he feels that because im young, ill have the book thrown at me as far as treatment goes. That means chemo and radiation and the possibility of medication for the next 5 years. ( i was expecting that).
so he seems pretty confident and thanked me for allowing him to look after me for the next 5 years.
