Hi Blackduck, I know how scary it is when you are first diagnosed. Get yourself a piece of paper, and write down all of your questions for the doctor, so you are able to get answers even though you are upset. Take someone with you as support to your appointment, so they can catch what information you miss. As Paula said, breast cancer is one of the more treatable cancers. I have had grade 3A cancer removed with 5 lymph nodes involved. I have a treatment plan and am moving forward. Have trust in your medical team and most importantly in yourself, and involve your family and friends in the process. Take a deep breath, write it all down and start talking and planning.
