So much for good vibes. Scan day sucked . They've called me back.
This may come out not making sense as I am somewhere in between being scared shitless and f*/#&%g furious.
So after the mammogram and u/sound the doctor popped her head in (obviously they could see I was starting to freak out) and said there was no changes to last years scans. Gave me a smile and said goodbye. Phew.
I was feeling quite positive after that until the receptionist rang and said I needed to come back for another targeted ultra sound as the MRI had picked up something. The other two hadn't, yet again!
Oh and the doctor wanted me to go tomorrow and follow her to their other facility as she is only in Ipswich on Thursdays and wanted to talk to me.
So my head is in a mess and the tears are starting, my heart is pounding and I've got the shakes.
I don't know if I can do all that again. I know I am over thinking and not to freak out totally before I know for sure. But FAAARRRKKK this shit,

Well done you. Not only have you braved the scans and overcome the gut wrenching fear and anxiety but also achieved a demolition project. What good news.
Now can you help me with my bloody bathroom / laundry. I can't drive the backhoe.
This evening I shall raise an extra glass to you in celebration.
Big hugs
Annie - BettybooMemberWhat a relief that must be @kezmusc - that deserves a celebration - excellent news. xxx
- kmakmMember*exhales a huge sigh of relief*
F**k me I feel better now. We get so connected here. I've never met you and may never either but you've made my weekend. I'll be raising a glass to you and yours tonight lovey. The absence of that sick feeling in your stomach must feel like you've won the lottery.
Your medical team today sounds wonderful. I meet my new female onc on Tuesday. I've got a 50/50 gender split on my team... unlike the Liberal Party!
All power to your arm. Both literally (poor wall!) and emotionally. Whoo hoo! K xox - Doin_itMemberOh my gawd!!! I’m so relieved @kezmusc. Been thinking of you all day!! Wish I did know you in the real world, then I could give you the biggest squishy xxoo
- kezmuscMemberHow beautiful is it that if we know someone is going through something tough, even though we don't actually know them in the real world, they are in our thoughts until they get through the fog. It's a kind of connection that no one else can understand.
- SisterMemberFantastic @kezmusc. I've been thinking of you with my fingers mentally crossed all day!
- AfraserMemberHooray!
- FletchMemberGreat news, what a horrible time to go thru. Your wall escapade sounds very cathartic,!
You are so very brave.
Thinking of you, lots of love and light.xx
