Update on the scan thing. I met with my new surgeon. She seems lovely, very thorough, empathetic but straight down the line. All good traits I think.
The general consensus is they have no idea what the MRI has picked up. The radiologist kicked the ball to her to make the final decision. She says she is a surgeon and isn't a specialist in reading radiology reports and does not dabble in other specialties. Fair enough comment I guess.
She will call the two radiologist doctors and have a discussion as to which way to proceed.
So right now I have a big fat inconclusive.
Next stop Ct next Thursday to check everything else and the chronic pain in my lower back and hip and then see what they think. If there is no definitive answer it will be MRI guided biopsy. Does not sound pleasant as apparently it has to be done in the MRI machine and yippee the thing is smack bang right under the nipple. We all know how big those core biopsy needles are. OUCH!
So I am stuck in limbo land but am choosing not to worry about it at the moment. Sticking my head in the sand. Blah!
