So far, very early days

the tumour is quite large 5cm, and i thought it would be benign

the test said otherwise, really dont know much yet, seeing specialist in 4 days, where the journey begins

thank you for this network opportunity, so sad that there are many here before me.

  • hi..glad u found ur way here...all of us are for for the same original reason but we have differrent stories and treatments, so we can be of support in so many different ways...

    hope that ur treatment plan (surgery/chemo/radiotherapy-whatever is req'd) happens quickly for you, but remember patience is also needed so as nothing is missed-all those boxes need to get ticked!  have faith that ur oncologist/surgeon/team will do everything in their power to help u sort thru the physical stuff..don't forget there is also counselling available to help with the 'state of mind' stuff...can be hard to process at times.

    Try not to be afraid, be empowered now that u know whats there u can send it off with NO MERCY!!!!  , .Your breast care nurse should be able to help u get what support u need and come here too
