the tumour is quite large 5cm, and i thought it would be benign
the test said otherwise, really dont know much yet, seeing specialist in 4 days, where the journey begins

thank you, yes, first thing i did, although overwhelming with information, has been very handy and just starting to journal the days for chemo cycle 1.

Hi Bardoe, I know the waiting is hard especially when you make up scenarios in your head. I tried to keep busy and adopted the mantra "it is what it is" to try and stop myself from worrying about something I had no power to control.
Stay positive I know everyone says this but it does make you strong, keep good friends around you.I am nearly at my 5 year mark and it has gone quick, now the reconstruction phase starts. I am seeking balance.....

Glad you found us, but sorry you had to :(
Once you have a treatment plan things will become clearer. In the beginning it seems a bit unreal and your head is foggy from all this unknown info and unanswered questions.
Information is power, so ask questions of your medical team, on here and anywhere else you can find the info you need.

the first weeks of diagnosis were tough when you dont know the full extent, but with a clear body scan
there was some relief and I can focus on the Known! :) I am stepping up to rebalance all that was unbalanced
like my immune system and I think that blending the western methods with more soulful eastern philosophies is the way for me
