So Annoying
Hi everyone hope you are all fairing better than me at the moment. Had my mastectomy 3 weeks ago and was just starting to feel sort of normal well not so sore, had it drained last Tuesday and then it...
Yes for every bit of bad news there has been that bit of luck that it was found, and you never know if you are going to be in that 5%.
I know with chemo it is the not knowing what side effects you are going to get but we are funny things as we all manage to cope with whatever is thrown at us and sometimes look back and wonder how we did. At least I am feeling better healthwise and ready to give it a go. And just keep thinking that after I have had the lot I should be one of the survivors.
It must have been devastating when you got it back again in the same spot as you would have thought that radiotherapy would have killed any remaining cells!!!! It is a dreadful thing and presents in so many different ways, not many people present with exactly the same symptoms.
I am just hoping my scans are clear but if not will just have to deal with it, am at the stage where nothing will surprise me, not saying it wont upset me, but trying to stay positive that if they aren't chemo will shoot the little buggars down.
Take care,
Jacqui
