So Annoying
Hi everyone hope you are all fairing better than me at the moment. Had my mastectomy 3 weeks ago and was just starting to feel sort of normal well not so sore, had it drained last Tuesday and then it...
sorry to hear you may have an infection, and the problems its giving you, hopefully they will get it fixed out for you, and you can then get onto the next stage of your journey. we have women who are at all stages in their journey, so i am sure you will be able to get lots of information and support, Thanks to Amanda for her comments, this is a scary time for both of you, but make you both register on here for the my journey kit, and the beacon, this has loads of information in a language we can understand, You are lucky to have a good neighbour, but what i would say if possible, is to have someone with you when attending appointment, as i know when i was going through it, i thought i was taking everything in, until my husband repeated things, i never even picked up from the care team. and remember on here there is no stupid questions. Also if you need any help navigating the site just yell out. Also once you have set up your blog, you have to go into your profile and tick the options you want others to see, as these are all set as private to begin with. feel free to add me to your contacts list. I am a champion for the site, have been through bc, lumpectomy, chemo, radio and am now on hormone arimidex for 5 years. look forward to speaking to you. take care Moira
