My friend had them during chemo with no issues. I personally have little success as I have soft nails that just lift away and they also got brittle during chemo.
It's the manicure aspect to watch. Clean equipment and not done at your lowest point in your cycle. ..day 10 to 14 is important. Just prior each cycle would be best time to reduce any infection risk. Let your manicurest know you are having chemo.
