Maybe I can help,and don't let them brush it aside.After my first round of chemo,and I am on Docetaxel and cyclophosphamide,I got a really annoying skin rash on about day 9.It was mainly around my neck,shoulders,armpits,and some in my groin.A bit on my back too.The breast care nurse at RPA suggested I buy sigmacort from the chemist.I thought at the time,"oh that's not going to help me" but within a day,it was clearing.The next round was the same,but worse.My onc told me to take my Dex tablets for two extra days,(but only one tablet on day 3 and 4) This helped also,but the last cycle,my 3rd one,it was worse again,and nothing helped.My son is a nurse,and suggested I take Zyrtec.I did,and within a couple of hours it was clearing.It came back the next day,and I took another one.It cleared up,and hasn't come back again! I have my 4th round on Monday,so am expecting the same thing again. Cheers. Robyn. xoxo
