Well fortunately (or unfortunately) I didn't have to make a choice and had bilateral mastectomy due to a grade 2, 10 ml invasive tumour in one breast and a grade 3, 4cm invasive tumour in the other one, plus a 3mm satellite lesion and high grade DCIS. I guess that was just one less thing for me to have to make a decision about. However I do feel for women who are faced with this decision.
