Side Effects - Exemestane and Goserelin (implant)
Hi, I've been on these hormone blockers for almost 6 weeks. After completing chemo and then radiation. I'm having trouble with joint and soft tissue pain. The pain seems to travel. It started in my feet and moved to ankles, knees and up into my groin.
Since my first operation where they removed 3 lymph nodes I started to get pain in my groin (on the same side as the removal) with my mastectomy they removed an additional 14 lymph nodes. I'm getting a lot of groin pain now, which I'm assuming from the hormone blockers. Its not joint pain, it feels like the soft tissue area.
I'm wondering if it is to do with lymph drainage? I've had a little trouble with swelling and pain in my arm lately so have started wearing a compression sleeve most days for a few hours. I've also had a couple of days with fluid in my feet and calves. None if it is consistent and at times very intermittent? Again I'm assuming its just part of the side effects and potentially will ease? They did say that symptoms tend to peak at 6 - 8 weeks?
