Hi Ladies
Went to have first u/s on my chest wall since my mastectomy and have a tender spot. Turns out it may be a seroma. I may have to have it drained by a needle. Has anyone had one and what happened? Is this a common thing and could it happen often?

My husband is a very casual guy and I am the stresser in this relationship. When I get worked up over things, which lately has been often, he affectionately calls me an old frog. He came across this picture and tells me that that have to chill more like kermit on the lilypad and he will take care of things, which he has. My rock !!

I have a had 4 drainages so far (340, 300, 100, 50 ML) area is totally numb and didnt feel anything at all! And if you have lots of fluid in there the relief is great!!!!!

Yes, i had to have a needle drain some fluid off my mastectomy site about 2 weeks after my surgery. As the site was quite numb I didn't feel a thing and it was easy, doc just drew out some fluid that had buillt up and only needed to have it done once
