Seroma
hi, has anyone had a seroma before? If so, what did it feel like? Mine is between my lumpectomy scar and armpit scar. Also have a little cording, have been doing exercises for it.
I had one for nearly 12 months! No
pain at all but the sloshing noise when bending over was bizarre. Mixed feelings among medicos whether to remove fluid or not (risk of infection either way!) but removing it did little good for me as it refilled in a couple of days. The amount of fluid possible is significant but usually not great (mine was ridiculous). Massage from a qualified therapist may help disperse the fluid. Best to get medical advice though. Any pain, redness consult straight away.
