It does sound normal but there is always the possibilty of infection or a seroma.Have you checked your temp?A seroma is a swelling or collection of fluid you can get after surgery.After my auxillary node clearance,I had all those symtoms you describe.It settled down to numbness under the arm but I still get a little twinge where the drain site was.I am totally numb across my mastectomy scar.The sensations I get now are as if I have a rolled up newspaper under my arm and duck tape across my chest.But I've had bc twice in the same breast so have had radiation in 2003 and then a mastectomy in 2010.My skin wasn't very elastic and apparently I have adhesions so hopefully, you'll fare better than me.
