I am feeling so very relieved & hopeful after my 1st specialist appointment today.
He said the 1st cancer tumour appears small & localised & the 2nd 'suspicous', tumour that the FNA couldn't effectively diagnose is more than likely benign. He took a core biopsy just to be sure. Will find out results on Fri.
So at this stage I'm looking at a lumpectomy, sentinel node biopsy. Follow up treatment 4 - 5 weeks of radiation therapy.
Feeling very very lucky & relieved indeed!
