Firstly, so sorry you are having such a worrying time. I have had fibroids for years which usually show up very clearly with ultrasound. They are common in many women. Just hang in there. Even if they are not ok growths, there is a good chance they can be removed and no further intervention required. That said I suppose I would be freaking out as well. You will have dealt with the waiting game in the past so just dig in there and hopefully that appointment comes around quickly.
