Second chemo done

HI there

Just an update.

Had my second chemo on Wednesday. Yay, 2 down and 4 more to go.

Apart from feeling a bit tired last 2 days, all seems well. Some aches here and there but nothing to complain about. Still managed to do my 2 walks a day so that is good. Appetitie improving. Managed to avoid the acid in the tummy this time round with taking Zantac before it started.

All blood counts were ok except for the red ones. Just got to boost it up and watch that.

Last round apart from acid in tummy, all was well.

Decided to shave off the hair before 2nd chemo because it was more distressing to see hair coming off in clumps. Could not bear to look at myself in the mirror for 2 days but ok now. In fact I think it is pretty cool.

All in all, pretty good. Hope it continues and improves.

    Sounds like you are going really well. I am a just over a week past my third chemo and feeling great. I have found each time I get tired for the first few days but a week after treatment I am almost 'normal'. Day 4 and 5 have been my worst each time but then I swing up quickly. And I am quite enjoying playing with new 'looks' without hair. Hope things stay good for you. Viv xxxx
